A revealing look at the steadily shifting standards that govern what
viewers can -- and can't see and hear on television. From Steve Allen to

"25 Greatest Rock Star Cameos"
They're unexpected. They're unpredictable. They're literally jaw-
dropping. They are those unforgettable moments when rock stars dropped in on
our favorite TV shows and shook up the little screen. Remember Davy Jones
kissing Marcia Brady? Alice Cooper crooning with the Muppets? Barry White
melting Ally McBeal? Sammy Davis smooching Archie Bunker? Barbra Streisand
popping up on Saturday Night Live for a little coffee talk? Some of us will
never forget. Today, our favorite TV shows feature rockstars all the time.
Cher does Will and Grace. Bob Dylan rocks Dharma and Greg. Alanis Morisette
heats up Sex in the City. Bette Midler plays softball on Seinfeld. Mick
Jagger and Keith Richards goof around on The Simpsons. Elton John invades
South Park. No Doubt and Jack bleepin' Osbourne do Dawson's Creek. "The 25
Greatest Rock Star Cameos" narrows down the best, the most hilarious, and the
most unforgettable cameos in one show. Find out which cameos launched
rockstars on stellar new careers and which ones sent them right back to their
day jobs. Plus we'll tell you which appearances gave the ratings big boosts

It's one of the best selling albums in history and arguably the finest
hard rock album ever made. AC/DC's "Back In Black" is a sonic manifesto of

in a tropical paradise and promptly made rock 'n' roll history. "Ultimate
